I have the same problem with 2015. I've researched and found nothing of consequence. I'm preparing to start some dis- assembly diagnosis and I'll let you know what I find. Just a sub-note, I'm a Master Technician with over 45 years experience and this one has me baffled.
I've got a 2012 Exped with a 5.4 and 220k miles. It has been well maintained. The problem is a steady misfire under moderate load. It also runs slighty rough on start up for a minute or so. Misfire is at speeds 35 to 55 mph. After 60 mph you don't feel it anymore. Ran a code ck. and came up...
I have the same problem with my 2012. Code was a P0403. Cylinder misfire. Seemed simple enough. I changed al 8 plugs. Same misfire occurred. 40 to 60 mph goes away over 65. Soooo I replaced all the coils. Guess what? Still have the same misfire. Any experienced advice?
