Hey everyone,
I recently broke my glove box light unit off the striker when I placed my pistol in there, not realizing it was at an awkward angle. I ordered part 2L1Z-14413-AA which is the entire assembly and has a striker attached to it. Rather than attempt to remove that striker and risk breaking another glove box lamp, I unbolted the existing striker. When attempting to place the new one back on, the bolt will not grab onto any thread. The existing striker was on there snug and now won’t grab on either. Any ideas as to what happened or what I could be doing wrong? Anyone have to replace a striker before?
