4WD? check transfer case motor

You can check if it is a caliper sticking by checking if one wheel is hotter than the others after a drive.

I had a similar problem on my 2015 F-150 FX4, but in my case it only happened when I *almost* came to a stop at a stop sign and then accelerated. Turned out to be the drive shaft front spline shaft binding due to no grease.

Check transfer case and the drive shaft. The U-joints might be worn out.
