2017 Expedition, 3.5 FWD EL Limited - winch install pics: did not relocate inter-cooler - simply cut off crossbar, strap inter-cooler back towards radiator and fasten in place using original cup mounts (less crossbar), mount winch on Harbor Freight universal winch mount and a bunch of little this & that's and it's done. I did relocate the winch controller to the pass side frame rail - easy. I didn't want to cut a hole in my grill to access the spool release so I came up with the 3/8s ext bar idea - it works. Now I understand you can get winches with a remote operated spool release..
