So, I think I'm correct that the 2015 Expedition has the 1st Gen 3.5L Ecoboost, correct?

If so, are there any issues with installing a catch can (codes thrown, performance issues, etc.)? I read on the Ecoboost forums that you generally don't see much of a difference with a catch can for the 1st Gen engines. I have one on order, but am wondering if it is really necessary?

A catch can will help avoid problems down the road. Helps avoid clogged valves. Not really a performance improvement you would notice right away.
