Dashcam power from Mirror?

Woah. Nevermind. I did not know these adapters existed. Looks like it might be a good solution. The only Issue I see is that the VIOFO hardwire kit has a voltage selector in-line that if your camera draws down your battery to a set extent, it will shut the camera off preventing it from draining your battery too much

Is the power plug for your dashcam just a RJ11 plug ? I've used the MirrorWire Power Cable and just run from power under the overhead console. Lots of power selections in the overhead and you'll probably need a power wire that's hot at all times right ? Or does you dashcam not have a parking mode ?
Power at the mirror is on the accessory delayed relay, meaning it goes away after 10 minutes. What brand of dashcam are you installing?
