The reason for that,
Some states only let you burn 4 lights forward facing at a time.
(Commonwealth of Virginia being one)

So its low beams with fogs,
or high beams with low beams.

Factory led fog lights

Ive recently noticed that neither one of my fog light are working. Green indicator on dash illuminates but neither light comes on. I checked to see if the module and get 12v and they’re not getting any power.

What should I check? I have forscan and adapter which I used to turn on Bambi mode in the drop down menu.. this is what led me to realize that neither was working in any scenario
not sure what module you are talking about, but my 2019 wiring diagrams show the fog lamps are driven directly from the BCM...

I note, there's no seperate Halogen vs LED drawings for the fogs. There ARE two separate drawings for the headlights, so either all fogs are LED, or its the same wiring, they just use different lamps.
