On my 2022 expedition max, the blind spot has faulted. The dealer recommended replacement of both radars and the harness which was on "backorder". The dealer said corrosion "could" be the problem and quoted $1500 to try to fix it.
After looking at the connection , the 3 sheared wires are the problem. Note the radar from 2021 has a vertical wire connection and in 2022, the wires are exposed horizontal where road debris can hit the wire bent vertically up, without protection.
Has anyone had similar damage to the unprotected wire harness to the radar?
