Serpentine belt tool

With all the talk of alternator replacement, I have found this my go to tool for removing and replacing the belt. Works great for me on tensioner.

I've owned several tools for this, and figuring I wouldn't use them much, I've bought cheap ones. I learned my lesson. The cheap ones all broke, rounded out or slipped the first time I used them. Found a good one, but paid a lot for it. But now I don't loathe those jobs any more.

A ratchet and a short piece of pipe works great. And most likely you already have it.
