My 2011 is Oxford White with the Tri-Coat finish, and when driving in the morning the rising sun hits the hood and shoots a laser beam of glare into the drivers eye. I wear sunglasses and the only remedy is holding my hand up to block the glare, which gets tiring. Has anyone else encountered this with the tri-coat finish? It makes me want to repaint the hood matte black.

How about putting a wrap on the hood?
You could see if that helps and it is easily reversible.
