My 2019 Expedition Platinum is parked sometimes for weeks on a trail access parking lot when I am at my remote fishing cabin.
I had some bad experience with battery drainage. So I installed a 9W solar trickle charger inside on top of passenger dash. I rewired the 12V power outlet on the dash to be always hot to accept the panel.this works exceptionally well but interferes with my Rove security camera due to the massive reflection the panel causes inside the windshield. I was able to tune some of it out with a polarizing lens on the camera.
So my question is:
Is there a way to add a film of some kind to the panel which reduces or eliminates the reflection? Without blocking sun rays to much.
Any suggestions?
