Thanks for the suggestions! I found this video from Ford Tech Makuloco that shows a procedure for removing the passenger side exhaust without lifting the engine. Not sure if it makes it simpler or more frustrating with tighter clearances. https://youtu.be/PR--aWBZ3hs?si=yW-28XOUReH6jkD7- blacktail

So I spent some time taking a closer look at the exhaust manifold just now and believe I discovered the issue. Not sure if you can see in the photo, but there is definitely black charring on the head but below the gasket. This really sticks out in person. All the head surface around this and...- blacktail

I did some driving this evening with an OBDlink MX+ and Forscan lite running. Recorded 5 misfires heading to the store. 1 on the return trip. Recorded at 2750 rpm and 20% load. I think the popping noise sound might be an exhaust manifold leak. It occurs at a rate matching rpms, but only...- blacktail

06 Navigator multiple electrical issues
Have you tried opening up your rockers to see if there is water sloshing around? There are quite a few wires running through there. Maybe this is causing your short? When I first got my exp there was a leak in the rear glass. The gasket(?) that sealed the glass when it was closed had worked...- blacktail

Thank you. That makes sense, as I have never had an issue getting the RPMs up on the highway. I recall when I had the prior issue with the ignition connection, misfire and limp mode, the OBD scanner told me exactly which cylinder was having the issue.
