i thought i remembered seeing a while ago a post entitled "finally got rid of the beep beep". i like my 2016 Expedition but a number of things are annoying. one is that the doors are constantly locking themselves and locking me out. i have had vehicles with auto-locking doors before but the expedition seems different. i use it a lot for loading, trailering, etc. seems like often times i stop, walk around the open a door or the tailgate only to find that the car has locked itself. is there a mode that is the "if i want the damn doors locked, i will lock them myself" mode? also, how do i get rid of the "beep beep" horn blast that happen every time you get out of the car with the engine running and every time you open and close a door? i can't tell you the number of times that i stop at a friend's house to pick them up and when i get out of the car to ring the door bell the car starts honking the horn and they come out saying 'yeah, yeah, cool your jets man, i'm coming, no need to honk the horn!". can i disable that feature? seems completely pointless and stupid to me.
