I'm having a severe leak whenever it rains on the passenger side of my rear liftgate.
i want to replace the weather seal, but I cannot find the part number for the seal on the body. I have found one for the seal on the actual door/liftgate, but not the one around hole on the body. Anyone happen to know? Also, is there any documentation for how to replace it? I already purchased the part I found, and it came with this rubber "string" that looks like it could pull out. Not sure what that's for.

I’ve replaced the weather seal on the lift gate and the glass lift gate with weather strips I just yanked off an expedition someone was parting out on marketplace. Cost me 10 bucks and it’s good to go, plus you know it fits since it came off the same/similar model. Tbh I don’t know what that strong looking deal is.
