When I was trying to replace my blend door actuator the other day I accidentally broke the rod part that goes in the hole to turn it from heat to ac. Is there a way to get this out or maybe just a way to manually switch it to AC? It’s summer in Alabama so I’m basically dying right now. I attached a picture of the broken piece inside the hole.

What does the actuator look like right now? Can you post a "in focus" picture ?
The actual actuator part is already off it’s just the hinge pin that the actuator turns that is broken off in there. Unfortunately with how tight it is that’s the most focused picture I can get.

You'll have to split the unit to get to the blend door and probably replace it with something from a junkyard pull. Or you can go to a junkyard and take one apart to see what you're getting into before you tear your own apart.
