I saw someone say you can Pull the #104 fuse to disable A4WD but not only does it disable A4WD, it disables all 4x4 capability's so luckily I can just put the bastard back in. If you want to disable the A4WD just do the BWM like I will be doing. :p

It is the simpliest non-intrusive way to disable A4wd and is the easiest option.

I always understood it to disable all 4wd functions but guess this may not be evident to all. So it may be good to point this out in the future.

But as said if you want 4wd you simply re-install. I do it all the time. No harm done..

Obviously a switch (brown wire mod) is more convenient for selecting on the fly.
