Had the same issue happen to us while we were driving to Kansas for Christmas. What's interesting is it only happened when it was super cold. Once we started our journey back to Arizona, and we were finally above freezing temps, we never went into limp mode again.

It has happened to me on several occasions recently. It happen when you first drive off in the morning usually a minute or two taking off. Has anyone come up with a fix for this?
Minea does this on hwy after hrs on the road but only in eco mode. We drove to tx from SC, I put it in eco mode and light came up right after first fill up. Put it and left it in normal rest of the trip and back...no issues. Good luck, I dnt think Ford knows and the dealers ir just pullin strings cuz there's nothing to find.
