This is your typical Ford Dealer experience. Ford Corporate really needs to do something about the dealer owners they franchise to when it comes to customer service

kr1stee - Sorry you're having to go through this mess. I know for me, it would ruin the experience. I could not find what I wanted in a new 2024 Ford Expedition in local Dealer inventory. But I looked and kept expanding my search and finally found the exact model with the options and colors I was looking for at a Ford Dealership 1,000+ miles away in Texas. I went and got it and drove it home. That made the experience all the better for me.

When I had my issue, I called Ford Corporate. They assigned me Liaison and she took care of everything. They even got me a new loaner and discount.
You should receive a discount if you accept the vehicle. Once the fading starts, since they may use a different paint technique, you will see a color mismatch.

i don't know, depends on the repair and any warranty on it. The 25's might require a subscription to use your seat heaters... j/k i don't know but others are doing this now, only a matter of time.

If a vehicle is damaged from the factory to the dealership the dealership does not have to report those repairs, so you are lucky you figured it out. Most collision shop’s repair/re-paint will never be as good because the factory bakes the paint, and the collision shops can’t get the necessary heat. It will look nice, but won’t last as long. I agree with others to pass on that one.

Part of me says not to accept it. The practical side of me says that the first time you park it at the grocery store someone is going to door ding it or push a cart into it. First scratch is already on it and fixed, makes it easy to move forward with ownership.

5280 - That's funny and also a sad forecast of what's coming in greater measures. Some of the options / features on my new 2024 Expedition have a trial period with a subscription required at some later date to keep it active.

I also agree just cancel and order a 25.

The fact you know the issue on this 24 is going to bother you and they aren't willing to help out in anyway, screw them.

I would IMMEDIATELY tell that dealership to go straight to hell, don't stop, don't pass go and GIVE ME MY FRIGGIN MONEY BACK, LIKE YESTERDAY, WITH INTEREST & INCONVENIENCE FEE OF 20% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE....

or alternatively:

HAHAHAHAHA.... this is what I would be saying, all the way to my lawyers office !

If there's no other ford dealers nearby, then yea, take your money & run as fast as you can to the nearest Yukon/Tahoe/Escalade dealer
:D
