Has anyone had a smooth shifting 10 speed? Do they all do the occasional clunk?

Wow, my running boards are also showing symptoms and at 3k CAD PER SIDE, that's insane. Sunroof rattles and tranny occasionally clunks.

What dealer did you get this deal (Canada or US) and when? I sent a request to Petrie Ford, the only dealer to have a seperate website+email for ESP in Canada and they wouldn't reply to my request.
Warranty didn't end up covering the running board motor and hinges. Onto eBay I go...

Still happy it did the rear main seal.

They covered the physical running boards, but not the motors and hinges?! On the brochure for PremiumCare they listed under electrical "POWER Running Boards"

Since they specifically put the word "Power" in it, I would argue that they HAVE to cover the powered part (i.e. motors) as well! If they put "Running Boards" only, then that's a different story, but what is there to break with the boards itself only? It just doesn't make sense to warranty the boards only. I'm assuming you have problems with the motors getting tired and not running the boards consistently like mine? If that's the case, I would bring it back and make them cover it, or else why would they even initiate the warranty work if the physical boards itself are fine, but the boards are not moving (according to them, they don't cover motors)? I hope you get what I mean, sorry for the long reply.

EDIT, Here is the brochure from Ford:

I know this is an old thread, but one thing I try to do is engage the parking brake before shifting to P. This takes the pressure off the trans when on a grade. If I don’t, that’s when I get the clunk sometimes.
