So I just ordered a set of 24x9.5 wheels for the expedition and should be here in a day or two. The question I have is should I run a 295 or a 305 tire and if anybody has any issues with tire rub. It's a 2 wheel drive stock height with no plans on lowering it

i have 305's...295 vs 305 doesnt change anything...its still a 35/24 tire...so the revs doesnt mean anything...i would suggest 305 to give you tire protection against curbs..you really cant tell the difference when looking at them...the tires i have have "rim protection" where it's designed to give the lip of the rim coverage to protect against curbs...since you went with a 9.5" rim it should look identical to my 305 on a 10" rim...

what brand/rim did you go with?

305's!!!!! you'll see why when you buy tires 295x35x24 usually run $50 higher per tire, 305x35x24 is the most common so its cheaper to get. I found this out helping a buddy of mine get tires for his navi on 24's. he had a 24X9.5 and I have a 24x10 as freeway said theres no noteable difference

My tires are $600 flat price regardless of size for the 24 my boys shop so I kinda get what I get when I can. As far as rim protection I have plenty like you said its only a 9.5" wide wheel. The only concern I had was if there would be any rub turning lock to lock but there is none. It looks fine with the 295 and ride quality didn't suffer too much from those monster stockers.

Can't stand how small the brakes look now but I have some more important things to take care before I out more money into this thing.

If you do the calculation the 295 is within 1 rev per mile ofthe stock 275/65/18 and the 305 is about 6 revs per mile off
