Trunk Camera Housing is Cracked...help!

Hey guys and gals, new member here. Need your help.

I have a 2008 Eddie Bauer.

On the trunk, the housing the camera sits in, the chrome peice is cracked. The camera its self is fine, but the housing it sits in needs to be replaced.

Does anyone know where I can get it, or have one I can buy off of them?

Yeah they wont cover this. My trailer hitch jumped up and slammed it LOL

They quoted me a price of 700 somthing. I think I found it on the internet for 162 but I cant seem to find any pictures to make sure its right

The dealer gave me part# 404C42 but I also found part number
7L1Z-78404C42-A

Just want to make sure it fits before I buy it or if someone has it for sale ill take it!

The number 7L1Z-78404C42-A is incorrect for 2008 it should be 8L1Z-78404C42-B but thats the housing without backup camera.


You need 8L1Z-78404C42-A which lists for $742 and online at Tasca is $490.

Not sure if the two housings are interchangeable.
