Ordered a 2024 in February. Arrived on May 22nd per the tracking, never received a call. I called yesterday, June 3rd, to check on when I could expect to pick it up because I need to sell my current vehicle. I was told they found a scratch and it was at a body shop to get repainted. Didn’t offer me any other options other than canceling the order. They said the scratch is deep and about 2 inches long on the right rear panel above the tire. I know it happens sometimes but it still bothers me.
Next day and I still don’t have a time frame on when it will be ready or what kind of warranty will come with the work done. They can’t even give me the exact date they brought it over there.
I’m starting to feel like I don’t want the car anymore because it doesn’t feel like a brand new car now and for $70,000+ I expect no work needed to be done before I even get to drive it.
We have limited dealerships in Alaska and if I order another one or a different vehicle I’m looking at 4-6 months. Starting to think I should just wait for the 2025 models to come out or order a Yukon.
