Everyone puts it in the cupholder but I think that's a good way to walk away from the vehicle and leave the fob behind. Putting it in this little storage cubby puts it right in front of your face and is hard to forget.

If you don't have that cubby then you have HD tow (brake controller is in this spot) which is a Big upgrade over non HD tow vehicles.

I bought my expy used and it just so happened to have HD tow. I have nothing to tow, ever, and Have no need for the feature so If I had a choice to have a cubby space or HD Tow id rather have the cubby space. I dont care too much about the 3.73 gearing also. I lose top end speed on the highway with the 3.73 gear as well
