Hey everyone- in the process of replacing my battery cables on my 2006 Expedition EB. Having problems with intermittent starting or long starting. Battery was a mess, that was replaced. Battery cable was really corroded. I’m thinking, and it has been suggested to me, that I replace the cable. Oh…. Starter was replaced 1yr. ago. Can anyone give me some good advice since I can not get OEM parts from Ford due to the age of the vehicle. Please HELP!! Any advice would be appreciated!!

I recently did the negative, grounds, and battery to alternator. i bought cables on amazon. the negative cable was the 54" and not the 48" not including the ground.

All of these places have configurators to match parts to your specific vehicle model, so I would start with them...

But anyways, it is time to replace those cables, but there could be other reasons for the issues you are having, and replacing the cables is probably the cheapest & simplest place to start troubleshooting...
