essentially they are same height. I was trying to show him what it would look like height wise.

305/40/22- 31.6" tall

305/50/20- 32.0" tall

only thing that is wacky is the offset.

factory is +44 offset.. being -44 offset, he would need to cut the body and bumper, as the sucker wont turn... he would need about a +40 to +35 to run that size wheel

Lifted or not, the offset is going to kill the idea. You are basically moving the tire/rim by approximately 3 inches side to side going from a +44 to a -44 mm offset. Tires can work on a correct offset rim as ZombieSoldier initially told you.

He could probably do it with 10 or 15 inches of lift :flamingdevil:

LOL, my Ram had 10" of lift and -44 offset was still out of the question without hacking up the fender & bumper.
