So…my roof panels are lifting off! On top of…
CDF ring replacement (still skips gears)
Gear numbering on instrument panel doesn’t work after CDF replacement.
Rear window squirt doesn’t work (says have to remove headliner to get to it)
DAMN!!!! 2021 FX4 34,000 mi

I had same roof trim issue back to June and Ford covered it with factory warranty.

This is my third expedition my first was the first year 1997 good car. Then a 2004 was good as well… this thing has many issues

If I recall correctly the gear indicator can be turned on/off using the manual gear selector. I'd try that to see if it turns back on. As for the rear window washer make sure it isn't the motor. You should be able to hear it if you're standing by the front end with the engine off. You'll need a helper to hit the button.

Just shows that quality has gone to Crap! I dont know if its just a Ford quality issue or if other manufacturers owners are also seeing alot of quality issues.

The gear indicator is a button you need to press, so I'd go easy on that complaint anyway. Gear skipping, the trans was designed to skip gears. Why waste all the effort going thru all 10 gears when there is no load? Skip the unnecessary gear changes and clutch wear and gain mpg.

How is this possible?? Do you put heavy load on the rack??

It's just plastic, looks more like it's warped. Similar to why my entire Dash got replaced at 6500 miles. Parts of it started warping.

I have the exact same issue. Never figured it out. And no, it’s not because I haven’t tried hitting the +/- buttons to make them come up.
