Hi Team, noticed a low grinding sound when turning the wheel to the right on our 2019 MAX. A normal person probably wouldn’t notice it but I’m a bit wacky when it come to this stuff.
It’s especially noticeable when I’m backing up. At first I thought it was the tire rubbing on something as that’s how it sounds, it’s a low pitched noise, but when I stop the car and keep the wheel turned it’s still making the sound so rules out the tire rubbing.
It drones in and out, not constant, but when you’re sitting at idle with the wheel turned it’s there. I haven’t noticed it turning to the left but I normally back out with the wheel turned right.
Any ideas? Thanks!
